A+ Festival: Arts and Culture Festival for People with Disabilities

The 2026 A+ Festival for Culture and the Arts of People with Disabilities is a cultural and arts festival where artists with and without disabilities, as well as the general public, communicate and come together through art. Under the theme “A Story of a Starry Land Shining Brilliantly,” the festival captures the process by which people with their own unique personalities and talents connect and achieve harmony through art, much like how different stars come together to form a single beautiful constellation. The festival aims to highlight the creative activities and artistic capabilities of artists with disabilities and to foster an environment where everyone can equally enjoy culture and the arts, transcending the boundaries between people with and without disabilities. To this end, it features performances across various genres—including music, dance, and theater—as well as exhibitions showcasing works by artists with disabilities and hands-on programs where citizens can participate directly. Furthermore, through collaborative performances featuring artists with and without disabilities, the festival expands artistic exchange and provides citizens with opportunities to experience diverse forms of artistic expression and values. The festival will be held from October 16 to 18, 2026, at Magok Plaza in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, serving as a venue for cultural and artistic exchange where people can understand each other’s differences through art and share the values of diversity and coexistence.
