What's listed

Dates and venues for festivals, events, performances and exhibitions in Korea. The listings cover what is running now and what is announced; finished events drop out of the lists but their pages stay up.

Festivals and performances are never mixed into one list. They always sit in separate sections, so a residency show running for three months cannot fill up a weekend listing.

Where the data comes from

The Korea Tourism Organization tourism information service, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety national festival standard dataset, and the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute holiday service. All are Korean government open APIs.

Coordinates and English-language addresses are filled in using NAVER Cloud Geocoding.

Organizers change dates and venues. Check the organizer before you travel.

How it stays current

Everything is collected once a day at 06:00 Korean time. If an upstream source answers with an empty response, the existing data is kept — the site does not show you an empty list because a government API had a bad morning.

English and Japanese titles, addresses and descriptions use the tourism authority’s official wording where it exists, and our own translation where it does not.
