Gwacheon Youth Festival

"The 5th Gwacheon-si Youth Festival 'Gwa:Chungjeon Festival' in 2026 is a youth cultural festival taking place at Gwacheon Central Park on Saturday, October 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. "Based on the empowering concept of ‘a day for drained young people to recharge to the max,’ it’s an event designed to fill monotonous, exhausting daily life with fun and vitality. This park, which is usually just an ordinary park, will be transformed into a “No-Drain Zone” for Youth Day, featuring attractions that everyone can enjoy, such as the Drain Check Station, the Recharge Arcade, the Energy Fishing Spot, and the Print Tattoo Shop. From policy experience booths in the “Clean Zone” to reward and hands-on programs in the “Immersion Zone,” pop-up stores in the “Overcharge Zone,” and even the main performance and busking stages that will set Gwacheon’s night ablaze! For just this one day, take a well-deserved break—this is a festival for everyone where anyone can recharge. A stamp tour where you collect stamps while exploring Central Park and a merchandise event are also planned to keep visitors coming back. Additionally, the “Overeating Zone” will feature food trucks serving yakisoba, chicken skewers, crepes, takoyaki, and more—ensuring you’re well-fed to enjoy the festival to the fullest. After sunset, performances by invited artists and string lights will fill Gwacheon’s night sky. On this one day—the hottest and most extravagant day in Gwacheon—you can discover a 150% recharged version of yourself at the “Gwa:Chungjeon Festival.”
