In the Gwangalli M Drone Light Show, held since 2022, the 'M' stands for 'Marvelous' — the light the drones throw off meets the night view of Gwangan Bridge, a Busan landmark, to give visitors to Gwangalli a sense of wonder and mystery. It runs twice each Saturday evening — at 7 and 9 p.m. in winter, October to February, and at 8 and 10 p.m. in summer, March to September — for about 12 minutes, and can be watched from anywhere along Gwangalli Beach. Shows range from the weekly resident performance with 1,100 drones up to as many as 3,000 for countdowns, Seollal and Chuseok. Schedules may change with the weather.
