Now in its eighth edition, the Yecheon International Smartphone Film Festival invites films and videos shot on smartphones, selects award winners through judging, and holds the ceremony on site on Saturday October 9 as a film festival that local residents can enjoy too. Launched in 2019 in Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, a city of exceptional natural surroundings, YISFF has come to represent Yecheon and, beyond Gyeongbuk, to be the leading smartphone film festival in the country. By making films with the smartphones that 'everyone' already owns, in step with the times, it has brought a fresh new wind.
