Yangjae Flower Festa

The Yangjae Flower Festa is a floriculture festival held from October 16 to 18, 2026, around the Yangjae Flower Market. It is composed of exhibitions, hands-on programs, stage programs and participatory events so that a range of flowers and floriculture content can be seen and tried directly. The main programs include a new variety showcase introducing new roses, spray chrysanthemums, gerberas, lisianthus and phalaenopsis, exhibitions of florists' work, one-day classes using flowers, career programs for children as florists and horticultural therapists, children's flower drawing programs and flower talk concerts. There is also the 'Ugly Flowers Are Great' program, making pressed-flower items from flowers that would otherwise be discarded for low marketability, along with a stamp tour around the grounds and social media events. The event is built so that visitors of all generations can look at flowers, try things for themselves and engage with floriculture.
