Inje Autumn Flower Festival

The Inje Autumn Flower Festival marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Park In-hwan, a leading figure in Korean modernist poetry, adding something special through a distinctive garden where literary feeling meets brilliant autumn flowers. Its greatest feature is that you can take in a range of autumn flowers while feeling the lingering resonance of literature, in spaces that reinterpret the poet's romanticism for the present. The grounds are laid out in varied themed paths. From the Park In-hwan Romance Garden, flower rest areas and the Fortune Observatory on 'The Happy Way', to the wildflower garden and chrysanthemum bonsai exhibition on 'The Loving Way', to the quiet waterside walk and slow postbox on 'The Connecting Way', it is well suited to an unhurried autumn stroll. On 'The Healing Way' you can walk through a forest cafe and artists' and community gardens and enjoy nature programs including tree climbing, a treehouse, an infant forest and bookmark making. Food and activities are well provided for too: the 'Wellbeing Market' offers local produce and chrysanthemum sales, various making activities, food trucks and lively performances. Add a flower path stamp tour, a drawing contest and a rock-paper-scissors tournament and you have a perfect autumn outing. General admission is free, with some hands-on programs charged.
