Jeonju Heritage Night, a night-time heritage festival set against beautiful evening views, is held from Friday October 2 to Saturday October 3, 2026, under the slogan 'Jeonju, thousand-year capital: a night stroll through history'. It takes place around Jeonju's landmark historical and cultural spaces including the Hanok Village, Gyeonggijeon Shrine, the Jeolla Provincial Office and Pungnammun Gate. Casting light on the history of Jeonju, the ancestral home of the Joseon dynasty and the royal capital of Later Baekje, this edition presents performances, hands-on programs, exhibitions and tours across eight thematic strands, letting visitors encounter the city's history and the value of its national heritage all the more vividly.
