The 22nd Hoengseong Hanu Festival is a leading stay-over tourism festival held for five days from October 7 to 11, 2026, around the Seomgang River flats in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do. It runs under the slogan 'Delicious, lingering, radiant' on the theme 'An autumn to linger in — Hoengseong, city of radiant flavor!'. Its aim is to share the excellence and brand strength of Hoengseong hanu beef nationwide and to stimulate the local economy, and it is organized by the Hoengseong Culture and Tourism Foundation. The festival comprises three themes — food, culture and arts, and hands-on programs — across 14 programs. Daytime programs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. are linked with evening programs from 6 to 9 p.m. to extend how long visitors stay, and local merchants, farmers and residents all take part in a festival built on shared benefit.
