The 23rd Yeongcheon Bohyeonsan Starlight Festival is an astronomy and space festival held over three days from October 9 to 11, 2026, around the Bohyeonsan Observatory and Science Center in Yeongcheon. Built on the astronomical science resources of the Bohyeonsan area and local tourism resources, it runs hands-on programs, performances and exhibitions on the theme of astronomy and space. It is distinctive in offering education and hands-on opportunities in astronomy and space, and in building hands-on and participatory content so that visitors can take part in the festival directly. Hands-on program booths on the grounds provide a range of content, while programs linked to local tourism resources strengthen the connection between the festival and travel. This 23rd edition is a signature local festival combining education, hands-on programs and culture around astronomical science, making use of the area's astronomy resources and drawing visitors.
