Wangsaeng-ro Light Street Festival

The Wangsaeng-ro Light Street Festival is a night-time culture and commercial revitalization festival held over two days, October 3 to 4, around Wangsaeng-ro Culture Park in Nam-gu, Ulsan. Its central purpose is to create a distinctive night landscape in a busy part of the city, offering residents a chance to enjoy culture and drawing visitors into nearby businesses to stimulate the local economy. On site, high-quality lighting — media facades, a street tree light show, laser fireflies and a big mirror ball — builds the night landscape, while stages by invited singers including Min Kyung-hoon and Sohyang plus DJs, busking and street theatre are scheduled continuously to draw the largest possible crowds. Alongside this, a food zone, beer park, flea market and hands-on programs run as side events, extending how long visitors stay and leading naturally into spending at the nearby shops.
