Ulsan Outdoor Library Picnic

Ulsan Outdoor Library 'Picnic' is an outdoor reading culture event for reading while looking out at the sea. It is hosted by the Ulsan Metropolitan Government and held around Seuldo Art on Seuldo Island in Bangeo-dong, Dong-gu, Ulsan. The event name 'Picnic' was set on the theme of 'Seuldok', meaning wise reading unfolding on Seuldo. It runs from September 19 to October 18, 2026, on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 8 p.m., ten times in all. The main programs comprise busking performances, book talks, DJ sets, pan flute performances, readings, starlight docent tours and outdoor film screenings. The book talk program features authors Choi Young-sil, Kim Cho-yeop, Ko Eun-hee, Yozoh and Kim Su-bin. Films screened include 'Little Forest', 'My Heart Puppy', 'Kiki's Delivery Service', 'Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea' and 'Sing'. The outdoor live performance program features artists including Gongnyong Yunyul, Purple Pizza, Summer Vacation, Sinband, Lee Young-ah, Lee Ki-hyuk, Gil Gi-pan and Kim Byung-jun, and Lee Ha-sil and Lee Jong-min, along with the S2 Magic performance team.
