Gunwi Samguk Yusa National Family Walking Contest with Ingaksa Temple

The 5th Gunwi Samguk Yusa National Family Walking Contest with Ingaksa Temple is a walking event in Gunwi, home of the Samguk Yusa, where families can walk together and experience the area's history and nature. Now in its fifth edition, it is held together with Ingaksa Temple of the Jogye Order, known as the place where the Samguk Yusa was written, as an occasion to share the historical significance of the work and Gunwi's cultural and tourism resources through walking. Participants walk a course laid out along the natural scenery around the temple, enjoying the mood of autumn with family, friends or a partner. Alongside the walk, invited singers Hong Won-bin, Park Seo-jin and Kim Tae-yeon give celebratory performances and various on-site programs run for participants. As a family event where history, culture, nature and performance come together, it aims to spread a healthy leisure culture through walking and to share the cultural value of Gunwi and the Samguk Yusa.
