'Earthen Vessels: Stories of Our Lives' is a special exhibition opening this July at the Gwangju National Museum. It looks again at the earthenware that has been closest to everyday life for centuries, exploring its practicality and beauty and the stories carried in a tradition that has never been broken. Some 300 pieces are shown, including a wave-patterned bottle and a large jar excavated from the Cheonghaejin site on Jangdo Island, Wando.
