The Chiaksan Hanwoo Beef Festival is a signature local festival organized by the Wonju Livestock Cooperative — a festival of harmony that anyone can join, grounded in Wonju's agricultural values and the Samto philosophy. It shares the excellence of premium Chiaksan hanwoo beef raised in clean natural surroundings, and visitors can buy local farm and livestock produce and fresh food directly and take part in food programs, with hands-on programs for families as well. Chiaksan hanwoo tastings and discounted sales, along with stage events alongside local arts performances, give plenty to see. The 12th Chiaksan Hanwoo Beef Festival is a festival held with the people of Wonju, at the heart of the Samto philosophy.
