Seoul Hanok Week

The Seoul Metropolitan Government holds the 4th Seoul Hanok Week over ten days from Friday October 2 to Sunday October 11 around Bukchon and Seochon. Seoul Hanok Week is a mixed culture event run together with hanok-related institutions, organizations and residents, with exhibitions, lectures and walks, hands-on programs, performances and events for experiencing Seoul's hanok in many ways. It takes place around Bukchon and Seochon and at Seoul's public hanok, with information available through the Seoul Hanok Portal and social media. This year a new K-living exhibition in collaboration with brands will show hanok daily life in Seoul, and by linking with 'Bukchon Day', the area's signature local culture festival, and working with partner institutions, programs will run across the hanok village to widen the festival further. Presenting a new side of the hanok as it expands from a tourist site into everyday space, Seoul Hanok Week 2026 takes 'hanok daily life in Seoul' as its theme, with exhibitions, performances, docent tours and other programs for experiencing hanok spaces and their appeal.
