Chungcheongnam-do Drone Festa

The Chungcheongnam-do Drone Festa is a comprehensive drone event presenting a national drone competition, a drone conference, a drone light show and exhibition and hands-on events all in one place. The national drone competition is a country-wide contest of piloting skill and mission capability including a precision piloting mission challenge and a search mission challenge, open to anyone in the country as a competitor. The drone conference is a place of exchange and cooperation where experts from industry, academia, research institutes and government share and discuss the direction of the drone industry and ways to use drones regionally. The drone light show is a large-scale performance using more than 1,200 drones, the event's signature program, expressing Chungnam's provincial vision and key policy messages as dynamic content. The drone exhibition and hands-on events introduce a range of aircraft and the latest technology, with piloting programs and participatory activities so that visitors can try drones for themselves and become more familiar with the future drone industry.
