The resident traditional culture events at the Uijeongbu-ji site are held by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to share Korean traditional culture with visitors to the Uijeongbu-ji Historic Site Plaza, strengthening Seoul's image as a city of history and offering a chance to enjoy traditional martial arts events that are hard to see elsewhere. They consist of a reenactment of the Yeolmu military review by the Samgunbu troops stationed along Yukjo Street, including Uijeongbu, plus the Seunggyeongdo board game and traditional martial arts programs.
