Korea Marine Mobility and Safety Expo

The side programs of the Korea Marine Mobility and Safety Expo are hands-on programs designed so that the importance of maritime safety can be experienced easily and enjoyably. Various maritime safety activities and participatory content run around the Busan Port North Port Waterfront Park, giving residents and visitors to the expo a chance to build interest in and understanding of maritime safety. The programs are ones anyone can join easily: a personal maritime photo zone using AI technology, a life jacket OOTD runway where you decorate and try on a life jacket, CPR learning and trying on coast guard uniforms. You can also pilot a vessel yourself through a ship handling simulation, and experience various maritime safety situations virtually at the marine VR hall, including falls overboard and passenger ship emergencies. There are also programs for learning the correct use of actual lifesaving equipment such as life jackets and life rafts, and for picking up safety rules naturally through a maritime safety quiz. A stamp tour linking content at the BPEX exhibition hall and the waterfront park also runs. The programs let you look at and try future vessels and autonomous navigation technology, eco-friendly marine technology and maritime safety and AI technology, experiencing the expo's main content all at once — a special place for meeting future marine technology and experiencing maritime safety first-hand.
