The UNICA Korea International Film Festival, supported by Gyeongsangbuk-do, the city of Gyeongsan, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Film Council, is held over two days on Saturday October 17 and Sunday October 18 at CineQ Daegu Gyeongsan Screen 3. UNICA is an international film organization founded in 1931 in line with UNESCO principles to support peace and friendship among peoples and international understanding and cultural exchange. UNICA Korea has held an international film festival each year since 2014 with the approval of the world federation. The festival avoids violent and sensational films and screens beautiful films that can move and teach. The non-profit organization behind it, 'Making the World Beautiful Through Film', holds the festival each year to discover and distribute beautiful films that contribute to happiness of mind and good character.
