Seoul Design Week

Seoul Design Week is a design festival presenting the forward taste of Seoul, a global design city. Now in its thirteenth edition, it runs for 12 days from October 14 to 25 under the theme 'The Design Recipe', presenting a range of design content. The DDP Design Fair takes 'a market full of taste' as its concept — a space where brands discovered in Seoul are completed by each visitor's own taste. By organizing the space around 'taste' rather than consumption categories, it creates a stage where brands and emerging designers come together. Exhibitions unfold at DDP and at major locations across Seoul including Seongsu and Hongdae. From work by 100 designers active in Seoul today to exhibitions on the design processes of overseas studios and a goods pop-up exhibition full of 'Seoul next', the festival fills the whole city with inspiration and covers the broad spectrum of the design industry. Alongside these, it will present exhibitions, markets and other side programs that strengthen the global competitiveness and distinctiveness of Seoul design and work toward a better life for the city's residents.
