Jeonju International Picture Book Fair

The Jeonju International Picture Book Fair (JIPF) is Korea's signature picture book culture festival, speaking with the wider world through a form that has become global content. It is a special festival where you can see original artwork by renowned artists from Korea and abroad up close; alongside Korean picture book artists, a guest of honor is invited each year so that the work of a leading artist representing that country can be introduced in depth. This fifth fair features Taiwan's Jimmy Liao and Korea's Kim Dong-seong, and runs from Friday October 2 to Sunday October 4, 2026, in the exhibition hall of the Sori Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do under the theme 'Picturing the Memories'. Opening with a ceremony, the festival offers exhibitions and lectures by artists from Korea and abroad, a book market with publishers, and an emerging artists' exhibition supporting new local talent. Added to these are performances, hands-on programs and conferences built around books. The original artwork exhibition then continues through Sunday October 25, 2026.
