The Anseong Namsadang Baudeogi Troupe's resident performance has been one of Anseong's signature cultural offerings since 2003. 'Gombaengi Teotda', the 2026 resident performance by the Anseong Municipal Namsadang Baudeogi Troupe, carries the subtitle 'The spirit of the marketplace shakes Gyeongbokgung!' and restages the six madang that are the essence of namsadang nori with a contemporary sensibility. Performances run about 90 minutes, every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Anseong Namsadang Theater. There is plenty to see: lively pungmul music with taepyeongso and kkwaenggwari, eoreum tightrope walking with perilous feats and banter 3 m above the ground, beona dish spinning, salpan ground acrobatics and more.
